Flexible solution for a runny nose
Katarek Vertical is a runny nose set for upright vacuum cleaners, which includes: Katarek Adapter for upright vacuum cleaners and Katarek Plus runny nose aspirator. The flexible adapter adapts to upright vacuum cleaners with holes of different shapes, allowing the aspirator to be connected. The aspirator removes secretions from the child s nose, and the suction power of the vacuum cleaner is appropriately reduced in the aspirator chamber, which provides the child with appropriate comfort.
For technical reasons, the Katarek adapter does not ensure proper operation with Samsung and VAX vacuum cleaners.

APPLICATION:
Katarek Plus is a medical device that, thanks to the Adapter, can be connected to upright vacuum cleaners to remove nasal discharge from infants and children (from the 1st day of their life).

WARNING:
Before purchasing, make sure that your vacuum cleaner is not on the list of models with which the adapter does not work properly. For technical reasons, the Katarek adapter does not ensure proper operation with Samsung and VAX vacuum cleaners. Make sure that your vacuum cleaner has a power of at least 150W. Make sure that the width of the vacuum cleaner opening is between 28 and 41mm. Block the suction opening in the vacuum cleaner with your hand for a few seconds (preferably for the time you usually extract secretions). If the device switches off by itself or starts to work incorrectly, it is very likely that this type of vacuum cleaner will not work with the Adapter.
Before starting aspiration, make sure that:
- the vacuum cleaner is fully charged
- the vacuum cleaner container is empty
- the side holes on the adapter are not covered
Always start with the lowest power level of the upright vacuum cleaner and gradually increase it if necessary. It is recommended to test the selected mode on a delicate area of skin, e.g. the hand, to make sure that the settings are optimal. Do not suck secretions for longer than 5 seconds. Strictly follow the instructions for both the adapter and the Katarek aspirator.
Installation method
- Before starting, make sure that there are no objects that may block the airflow in the opening of the central unit of the upright vacuum cleaner, the adapter and the Katarek aspirator. If necessary, remove these items.
- We recommend emptying the vacuum cleaner container and operating on a fully charged battery in order to achieve the best performance parameters of the product.
- Insert the adapter into the hole in the central unit of the upright vacuum cleaner. In the case of an elongated hole, gently squeeze the adapter cap to facilitate assembly. Make sure that the adapter is properly seated, sealing the connection and does not fall out by itself.
- Place the central unit of the upright vacuum cleaner in a convenient position to have easy access to the vacuum cleaner and aspirator controls. The positioning of the central unit of the vacuum cleaner must ensure stable and safe operation. Make sure that the central unit of the vacuum cleaner does not fall or tip over during operation.
Connecting the aspirator
- Assembling the aspirator to the Katarka Adapter for upright vacuum cleaners
- Attach the conical part of the aspirator to the tip of the adapter.
- Make sure that the part of the aspirator is tightly attached to the cone tip of the KATARKA ADAPTER for upright vacuum cleaners and does not fall out by itself.
- Check that the side holes of the KATARKA ADAPTER for upright vacuum cleaners are not covered.
- Assemble the remaining parts of the aspirator according to its instructions for use
