Finally, drinking can become fun!
The new NUK Kameleon cups delight children because the image on the cup changes color when heated or cold. It s hard to believe! Children enjoy drinking even more and are more likely to use the cup again. With an attractive design, a child s interest in drinking also increases in a very natural and relaxed way. The NUK Action Cup accompanies children over 12 months as they become more active, where movement and action are paramount. The soft straw is flexible and gentle on the palate and gums. Thanks to the practical screw-on closure, the straw retracts into the lid, keeping everything dry and clean during transport. The NUK Drinking Cup also includes a ventilation valve for trouble-free drinking.

Cup capacity: 230 ml.

Drip-Free Cup for Learning to Drink with a Straw

  • A Straw (A1 silicone straw, A2 polypropylene tube)
  • B Cap (B1 upper part of the cap, B2 lower part of the cap)
  • C Drinking Cup

Important Usage Instructions

  • Before first use, disassemble the product according to the instructions, wash them, and boil them for 5 minutes. This is for hygiene reasons. Wash thoroughly before each use to ensure hygiene. Sterilize if necessary. Store in a dry and hygienic environment. To boil or sterilize, always disassemble the cup into its individual parts and leave them open otherwise, deformation may occur. We recommend using a NUK Steam Sterilizer or a NUK Microwave Steam Sterilizer for sterilization. To avoid damaging the material, always follow the sterilizer manufacturer s instructions for use.
  • The best way to preserve the colorfastness of heat-sensitive colors is to hand-wash the product. If necessary, the product can be filled with boiling water to disinfect. Heat-sensitive colors are sensitive to moisture, temperature, and descaling agents. Frequent boiling or sterilization will cause the colors to fade over time.
  • When disinfecting plastic cups, do not exceed the maximum permissible temperature of 100°C (marked on the cup)!
  • Do not expose the cup to direct sunlight or heat, and do not leave it in disinfectants (sterilizing solutions) for longer than recommended, as this may damage the material. Always heat open cups (risk of explosion) and then allow to cool (risk of deformation)! Be especially careful when heating in a microwave uneven heating may occur. After heating, always stir and check the temperature before feeding.
  • Never fill a drinking cup with carbonated or hot drinks. The resulting excess pressure may cause the liquid to spill.
  • In negative pressure rooms (e.g., airplanes), leaks may occur.
  • When pouring drinks prepared with powder, ensure the powder dissolves completely. Sediments or fruit pulp may adversely affect the straw s performance.

For your child s safety and health

  • Continuous and prolonged sucking of liquids can cause tooth decay. In young children, tooth enamel can be damaged, even if unsweetened liquids are given.
  • Always check the temperature of food before feeding. Discard at the first sign of damage or wear.
  • Keep unused parts out of reach of children.
  • Never attach them to strings, ribbons, laces, or loose parts of clothing. Your child may suffocate.
  • Always use this product under adult supervision.
  • Never use bottle teats as pacifiers.
  • This cup is intended for children from 12 months of age and is not suitable for feeding younger babies. Keep small parts out of reach of children: - choking hazard - risk of pinching fingers.
  • Always check part A1 of the spout for signs of wear and tear and replace it if there is any visible damage.
  • If the cup is damaged on the inside (e.g., scratched), replace it for hygiene reasons.
  • NUK cups and spouts are only compatible with products from the same series.

Cleaning
For the most thorough cleaning, disassemble the cup into its individual components.

  • 1. Turn the top of cap B1 clockwise until the arrow mark is fully visible and remove it from the cup.
  • 2. Unscrew the bottom of cap B2 from the cup and then disconnect the polypropylene tube from the silicone straw.
  • 3. Pull the silicone straw downwards out of the cap.
  • 4. Wash the parts in warm water with dishwashing detergent, soaking if necessary. Rinse in clean water and shake off any excess water. Dry without assembling the parts.
  • 5. Store the cup unpacked, disassembled into its individual parts: straw, cap, and cup.

Tips:
The product (except for the spout) is also dishwasher safe. Harsh dishwasher detergents may damage the material. Some foods may discolor the material (e.g., carrot juice) or change its odor (e.g., fennel tea), which does not affect the product s suitability for use. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning (risk of damage, especially to the spout)!

Assembly - Begin assembly WITHOUT the straw.

  • 1. Place the upper part of the cap onto the lower part so that the arrow is visible through the hole in the upper part of the cap (B1). In this position, you can assemble both parts of the cap without applying pressure.
  • 2. Turn the upper part of the cap, located on the lower part, counterclockwise (in the direction of the arrow) until the straw hole is fully visible. You will feel a slight resistance, which you must overcome.
  • 3. Insert the silicone straw into the cap from below and pull upwards until you hear a click. Then attach the polypropylene tube by placing it over the silicone straw.
  • 4. Screw the assembled cap onto the cup.

Instructions:

  • 1. Additional arrows are marked on the lower part of the cap (B2) and upper part (B1) to help you find the correct installation position.
  • 2. If you don t have the assembly instructions handy, there are small pictograms on the underside of the B2 cap to help you assemble the cup correctly. Please retain the product information and product/batch number for future reference.
